An authentic and welcoming place where people gather to reconnect with the essentials and enjoy life.
La Mauricie National Park was already one of the most beautiful places in Quebec, but since 2020—with new asphalt (and widened shoulders in several areas)—it’s become the ultimate destination for road cycling. If you’re looking to push your limits, enjoy an incredible climbing experience, and take in breathtaking landscapes, La Calvaire is your next big challenge!
We suggest starting your route at Le 2800 du Parc. Located near the East entrance of the park (Saint-Jean-Des-Piles), it’s the perfect spot to begin and end your ride. With a restaurant, event space, large parking lot, and even accommodations, you’ll have everything you need to start (and finish) the day right.
In St-Élie-de-Caxton, you’ll find an Esso gas station and a small market—ideal for a quick energy refill before heading back!
On this ride, you are heading for a sneaky climb up Sa Creu, via Establiments and Tords. Expect a steady start, scenic roads, and a little burn in the legs!
